Aiken Fall Steeplechase

Tom Varallo has offered the Club the use of his rail side spot for this year’s Aiken Fall Steeplechase. He wants you to go and have a good time so much that he is even offering to pay for your ticket in. So, if you have no other plans for Saturday, October 28th, you would be quite literally foolish not to take advantage of this offer.

Space #262 is on the Outside Rail (see map) and will accommodate only one vehicle and canopy that will be taken up by the Mason’s pick-up truck and awning. We’ll have a big cooler filled with ice and grill and such, so just bring your fabulous selves and something to cook or nosh on during the day, plus whatever you would like to drink.

You can park for free in the Bogardus’s driveway (or on the street in front of the house) at 778 Boardman Rd. It is an easy mile from there to the event or you can ride in the back of the pickup like a day laborer if you get to the house before 8:30 AM.

I must know by WEDNESDAY at NOON, if you are coming, so I can get your ticket to Brian/Donna before I leave town on Thursday morning. Please send me an email (TomVarallo@gmail.com) or text (803-640-2406) BEFORE NOON on Wednesday if you want a free ticket.

Hope you have a good time!
