Miata for Breakfast – December

Saturday, December 15, 2007

7:00 – 9:00

Where: Michael’s Restaurant, Thomson GA

Jackie & John met the Schumachers at the rendezvous spot. We hung out until 6:40 then decided to motor on. After a brief side trip chasing a train down the US-78 trunk line along Old Augusta Hwy., we re-emerged in the pre-dawn light back on to the highway and arrived at Michael’s in Thomson about 7:10, finding Dave and Bobbie there already. So we snagged a table for 6 and had a hearty breakfast. Brian and Donna sent their regrets as they had a flat tire late last night too late to fix before this morning. Brian mentioned that the breakfast spot was OOR (out-of-range) for his OTM.

Of particular interest was the alternative syrup on the table which Mr. Schumacher said tasted mildly of molasses.

After a leisurely breakfast, we wished each other a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and went our separate ways. Another great Mom ‘n’ Pop Miatas for Breakfast spot in the book.
